Mansbridge 100 Year Celebration
We’re bringing the community together for a celebration of 100 years of Mansbridge. Come along for a fun-filled day with food, entertainment, performances, and activities for all ages, including a silent disco, face painting, bubble workshop, circus skills, a bouncy castle and free food for the first 100 Mansbridge residents. Plus, enjoy an exhibition showcasing the stories, artwork, and memories shared by the community!
When?
Saturday 6 September, 11am-2pm, Mansbridge Primary School, Octavia Road.

Join SoCo Music Proiect for these free music sessions that will help you find your voice and express yourself through music.
All abilities welcome, whether you're already a confident singer or are looking to get started on your musical journey.

Free six-week cookery course
With dishes inspired from around the world, during this course you will learn:
How to use a wok to prepare and cook quick and easy meals, good food and hygiene practices in the kitchen and different recipes each week. Once the meal is cooked you can enjoy eating it with the new people met and new friends made on the course!
When?
3.30-6pm on Tuesdays 16, 23 September & 7, 14, 21 and 28 October 2025.

Then drop-in to our Employment and Opportunities Hub and chat with our friendly advisors who can help you search and apply for jobs, discuss any housing issues, as well as connect you with groups and activities happening in the area. We can help with CV's, cover letters, applications and job searching. No need to book.

Junk Orchestra
SoCo Music Project are running the Junk Orchestra project at the café.
No instruments? No problem!
Join SoCo Music Project to make and play your own instruments at our Junk Orchestra. Trash can drum kits, bottle cap shakers, water bottle rainmakers, and more.
Sessions will involve making music together, as well as making musical instruments out of items that would normally be thrown away.
No DIY or music experience necessary, and no need to bring along any tools.
When?
5-6.30pm, Thursdays until the end of March.
